Politics. Culture. Philosophy. I don't have a girlfriend.
Freedom of speech is under attack in our modern culture. From politics, to the workplace, to the academy, it is increasingly unacceptable to voice concerns or opinions that may be controversial or at odds with a received point of view. If unchecked, the chilling effect of censorship will soon become the law of the land, the policy of the university, and the regulation of human resources departments.
Students in Support of Free Speech (SSFS) is a nonpartisan group originating from the University of Toronto in Toronto, Canada. SSFS was created in response to the attack on one of our fundamental human rights: freedom of speech. This page is a compilation of live streams, discussions, debates, and reports of recent events.
